Hi!

I’m Charlotte:

a full-time mom, longtime hospitality pro, and part-time dreamer of where we’re heading next. I’ve built restaurants, worked in the hotel world, raised a pretty exceptional five year old travel companion, and lived for those fleeting moments when the stars align and everyone is able to sleep on the plane.

We’ve traveled across the globe just to eat at a single restaurant and just to stay at that boutique hotel from Pinterest that I’ve been swooning over. We split our time between our home in the Pacific Northwest and my husbands native South Africa.

This site is part travel journal, part shopping edit, and part love letter to the idea that parenthood and seeing the world aren’t mutually exclusive.
